I made these girls for Nightglider for Christmas....but she knows about them...so I will share ^_^

Here's the story;
Nightglider's daughter has the beanie buddy platypus (the purple one) and she takes it everywhere!! Her security blanket so to speak Wink (some of you who attended the Fair in Memphis may remember her and her plati...they where there ^_^)
anyway; Nightglider is pergo with her second! Another girl....and she is about to pop...December 6! Well, she was scanning ebay; and found a platypus buddy of a different color!! So of course she bought it for the soon-to-be-here sister!! So both of her girls will have their Platypus! (how do you pluralize platypus? platypi? platypuses? *shrug*)


The twins are both re-rooted; Plati-O (purple) was re-rooted with a blend of Bougainvillea and Wisteria (dollyhair) and Plati-C (green) was re-rooted with a blend of Key Lime and Mango Tango.
Their eyes and their platypus symbol have been hand painted.
Their little paddles and bills are made out of felt and are removable ^_^
