I made her, for my husband for Christmas, to resemble/have elements from his 80 gallon saltwater tank. (he also has a 30 gallon fresh water tank and a 10 gallon salt tank...add in the 30 gallon sump and we have a lot of water in the house - ha)
her legs are dyed darker blue gradient.
Then i re-rooted her with "daiquiri ice' -- but before I started the re-root I dyed just the middle portion of the hank, so that the roots would be a darker blue.
her eyes were painted with acrylics. Her 'symbol' details where sculpted and painted. (the Coral-Banded Shrimp on her back has antennas made from monofilament (fishingline))

and another: [link]

and I took her box and trimmed it out in black paper - to make it resemble the tank; i also included a shot of the tank

I absolutely adore fishkeeping, and ponies, so...this is a win-win situation! :D
Gorgeous!

Gorgeous! I especially love the cute little snail shell on her nose. The aquarium box is cool too, though I think you should have put colored rocks or a plant in it too ;)

Simply stunning creation youve got here.... how much do you take for a custom pony?

Thank You! ^_^

Unfortunately, at the moment I am backed up on my commission work, and am desperately trying to work my way down my waiting list, so I shouldn't take on anymore until I get caught up.
Normally my prices range between $25-$75, depending on the amount of work.
Check back in a few months if your still interested, and I will see about getting you on my list.
Thanks again!

Wow! LOVE IT!
Awesome! was wondering how you do it and where you get your ponies from? - also, what do they generally cost (just the pony and then all together to make it?)

Ive never done this before and would like to make one :P

LOVELY WORK!!!

Wow that is absolutely amazing!
Especially to someone who keeps fish and customizes ponies! (By that I mean I am working on my first one >.<;)
